Features

Everything you can do with your account today.

Secure account

Register with your mobile number and email, sign in with either one, and rest easy — passwords are hashed and never stored or logged in plain text. Forgot your password? Verify your identity with your mobile, email and date of birth to reset it, or change it anytime from your account menu.

Verify your email before you ever pay

Tick Extended Authentication Security, just below the Email field on the registration form, and a Verify button appears next to your email — tap it and we send a 5-digit code that you confirm right there before choosing a plan or opening the payment window, so a mistyped or unreachable email is caught upfront, not after your card's been charged. Without that box ticked, verifying is skipped.

Welcome email with your membership details

The moment your account is created, you get an email confirming your plan, amount paid (or that no payment was needed), and how long your membership is valid — a record you can always refer back to.

Two-step login with an emailed one-time code

With Extended Authentication Security on, after your password we email a 5-digit one-time code (OTP) to your registered address to finish signing in — valid for 5 minutes, with up to 5 attempts before you need to log in again. Already have it copied? Tap the "Paste" button on the verification page and it fills in the code and continues automatically, no typing needed. Can’t see the email? A blinking red reminder on the verification page points you to your Spam / Junk folder, where these codes sometimes land.

Extended Authentication Security (optional)

Turn on this account setting from Register or Edit Profile, and your email must be verified with a one-time code when you register, every login asks for a code emailed to you after your password, and any time you change your email address later, you'll need to verify the new address with a fresh code before it's saved. Off by default (you then log in with your password alone); switch it on or off anytime.

Document files encrypted at rest

Every document you upload is encrypted before it's written to storage, and decrypted only when you (or someone you've explicitly shared it with) legitimately access it. Even direct access to the underlying storage — a misconfigured server, a leaked backup — doesn't expose readable document contents without the application's own encryption keys.

Every document in one place

Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, certificates, invoices, warranty cards, agreements, property documents, medical and health records, legal case documents, price lists and menu cards, and anything else worth keeping — each with its own type, number and expiry date.

Validated, auto-compressed uploads

JPG, PNG and PDF only, checked by size, extension and file signature — not just the filename. Photos over 2 MB are compressed automatically rather than rejected outright, so a phone camera shot almost always just works.

Capture documents with your camera

No scanner needed — open your camera right from the Add ID or Edit screen, snap a photo, and it's validated and stored the same way as any uploaded file.

Scan multiple pages into one PDF

On Add New ID, "Scan Document" walks you through capturing (or importing) each page, straightening it with draggable corner adjustment, fine-tuning brightness, contrast, rotation and grayscale/black & white, then combines every page into a single PDF you can preview before saving. Quality is adjusted automatically to fit the same 2 MB file limit as any other upload.

Edit anytime

Update a document's details, or replace the file itself by re-uploading or re-capturing a photo — without deleting and starting over.

View, print and download

Open any document instantly, print it on a clean page, or download the original file — each action recorded in your activity log.

Share any document via QR code, your way

Need to hand a document to someone — a bank, a landlord, a shop — without emailing a copy that lives forever? Generate a QR code from your Dashboard and choose exactly what happens when it's scanned: View only, View + Download, View + Print, or Download only. Pair that with how long it should work — a single scan, 10 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours — and it stops working on its own once that's used up, and you can cancel it sooner from My Shared Links.

Watermarked, screenshot-resistant viewing

When a document is viewed through a share link, it's shown in a locked-down viewer — no download or print option beyond what you explicitly allowed, right-click and copying disabled, and a watermark ("Shared via IDBANKQR.COM", who it was shared with, the date and time it was opened, and a reference code that also appears in your Activity Log) repeated across every page of the image or PDF. Mark a share confidential for a bolder "CONFIDENTIAL — FOR VERIFICATION ONLY" stamp. One honest limit: no website can block an actual screenshot — that's outside any browser's control — but the watermark means a copy is still traceable back to this share.

My Shared Links — see every share, cancel any of them

Every QR code or link you generate is listed on My Shared Links: which document, who it was shared with, what they were allowed to do, whether it's still active, and how many times it has been opened. “Who opened it” lists each opening with its date and time, whether it was viewed or downloaded, the kind of device and its IP address. Sent one to the wrong person, or simply changed your mind? Press Cancel and the link stops working immediately — or cancel all running links in one go. Cancelling can't take back a copy someone has already saved, which is why the watermark is there too.

Reminders before a document expires

Save an Expiry Date with a passport, driving licence, insurance policy or any other document and we email you 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before it runs out — all your expiring documents together in one message, not one each. It's on by default, and you can switch it off (or back on) anytime from Edit Profile.

Personal QR code for login

A separate, permanent QR code tied to your account — scan or click it to jump straight to the login page with your mobile number filled in. It never carries your password.

Plans built around document limits, not gigabytes

Choose Trial, Evolution, Student, Personal, Family or Premium — each with its own document limit (5/10/20/25/50/150) and feature set, paid securely through Razorpay. Student (₹299/year) is priced for registrants aged 25 or younger, checked against your date of birth before payment opens. Every payment is independently verified before your account activates; nothing is taken on trust. See the full Pricing comparison.

Login alerts

Get notified by SMS (and by WhatsApp, on supported devices) each time you log in, plus an email with the date & time, IP address and approximate location of that login — so you always know when and roughly where your account was accessed, with a direct link to raise a complaint if it wasn't you.

Raise and track complaints

Something not working as expected? Register a complaint in a couple of taps and follow its status — Received, Viewed, Resolved or Invalid — along with any reply from our support team.

Full activity log

Every login, upload, view, print, download and share is logged and filterable by date, type or keyword — always scoped to you alone. A Back to Dashboard button (and the bottom tab bar on phones and tablets) takes you straight back.

Smart search across your documents

Find what you're looking for by name, type, description or document number — and it understands common shorthand too, so "DL" finds a Driving Licence and "marksheet" finds a Marks Memo. This is a curated lookup table, not an AI language model, but it's genuinely useful and works instantly from your Dashboard.

Chat with our assistant, anytime

A chat bubble in the corner of every page answers common questions about pricing, registering, security, documents and QR sharing right away. It's an automated FAQ assistant matching your question against curated answers — not a live person, and not a conversational AI — and says so upfront, with a straight path to Contact Us for anything it can't answer.

Standalone QR & barcode tools

A QR Code Generator for turning any text or link into a QR code, and a Barcode & QR Reader that scans with your camera or an uploaded image — genuinely reading more than just QR, including Code 128, EAN, UPC, PDF417 and Data Matrix. Both are account features, not open tools — you'll need to be logged in to use either.

Free financial calculators

Five calculators, open to everyone with no account needed — nothing you enter is saved, and each shows its working in a year-by-year table:

  • EMI Calculator — monthly instalment, total interest and repayment schedule for a home, car, personal, education or two-wheeler loan.
  • SIP Calculator — what a monthly mutual fund SIP could grow to, with an optional yearly step-up.
  • FD Calculator — fixed deposit maturity amount, or the monthly / quarterly interest payout.
  • RD Calculator — recurring deposit maturity, using the quarterly compounding banks and the Post Office use.
  • IRR Calculator — the annualised return on an investment from its cash flows, with a present-value check.

They’re linked from the site footer and from each other.

Send your results to yourself: logged-in members on the Student, Personal (Monthly), Personal (Yearly), Family and Premium plans get “Email me” and “WhatsApp” buttons on every calculator. Email sends a neat summary of what you entered and the results to your registered email address; WhatsApp opens the chat app with the same summary ready to send to yourself or anyone you choose. Your plan needs to be active — it pauses if the plan expires — and it isn’t included with the Trial and Evolution plans.

AI-assisted scanning on Add New ID

Take a photo or choose an image of an Aadhaar, PAN, driving licence or certificate, and the form fills in what it can recognise — document type, document number, issue date, and expiry date, plus name/date of birth/address where found. This runs real OCR right in your browser and is genuinely useful, but it's pattern-matching against common formats, not a guarantee — you'll always want to check the filled-in fields before saving, especially names and addresses.

Edit your profile anytime

Update your name, email, date of birth, address and profession from your account menu whenever they change. Your mobile number stays fixed, since it's what verifies your identity for login and account recovery — changing that would need a separate, more carefully verified process.

Upgrade your plan anytime

Move to a higher plan whenever you like, and it takes effect immediately — no waiting for your current term to end. Downgrading isn't available, only upgrading, so the plan picker only ever shows options priced higher than what you're already on.

Dashboard & My Documents that feel like an app

On a phone or tablet, My Documents switches to an app-style layout: a header with a back button, a search box and swipeable document-type filters, and one card per document with View, Print and Download for each file plus Share, Edit, Add File and Delete. The Dashboard turns its document list into cards too, and both pages share a bottom tab bar for quick navigation. On a computer you get the full table instead — the layout is picked for the device you’re signed in on. Opening a document shows it inside the site with a Back button, so you’re never stuck on a bare file, even from the home-screen app. A dark theme toggle is available on both pages, and on both registration steps, and remembered between them.

Group your documents by type

Flip the optional “Group by type” switch on My Documents or the Dashboard to see your documents sorted under headings like Government ID, Insurance or Medical & Health Records, each with a count. Tap a heading to collapse or expand it, and it still works alongside search and filters. Turn it off to go back to the usual newest-first list — your choice is remembered on that device.

Keep the family's documents by person

Every document has a Person Name, filled in with your own name. On the Family and Premium plans you can change it when adding or editing a document — pick a name you've used before or add a family member. The Dashboard and the My Documents app view then sort your documents under each person's name, with a dropdown to show just one person; “Group by type” still works inside each person. On other plans the Person Name stays locked to your own name. Everything is still kept in your one account — family members don't get their own login or QR code.

Documents by country, set from your location

Every document has a Country — India, the USA, the UK, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Australia, Singapore and more than 25 others. On Add Document it’s filled in from where you are (your browser asks for your location; if you say no, an approximate location from your internet connection is used), and you can always change it. The ID/Document Name list then shows that country’s usual documents — Aadhaar and PAN in India, Social Security Card and Green Card in the USA, Emirates ID in the UAE, Iqama in Saudi Arabia — and picking one fills in the Document Type for you. My Documents shows each document’s country, lets you filter by country, and lists the documents of the country you’re in first. The Knowledge Center has country guides too, with your country’s listed first.

Listen instead of reading — voice greeting & voice notes

Every Knowledge Center guide has a Listen button that reads it aloud in a female voice, highlighting each paragraph as it goes, with pause, stop and four reading speeds — handy for studying on the move. When you log in you’re greeted by name (“Good morning, … welcome back”), and messages like “Document saved” are spoken as well as shown. A speaker button in the top menu turns voice notes off or on, remembered on each device. It all uses your browser’s built-in voices, so nothing is sent anywhere; the exact voice depends on your device, and browsers only start speaking once you’ve tapped or clicked on the page.

Read the site in your language

Use the language menu at the top of any page to read IDBANKQR in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia or Assamese, plus 20 world languages such as Spanish, Arabic, French, German and Chinese (the languages of the country you are in are listed first) — no login needed, and your choice is remembered on that device until you switch back to English. Members can also set a Preferred Language for Dashboard when registering or later in My Profile, and the Dashboard then opens in that language after every login, on any device. Translation is done by Google Translate, so wording may not be exact; the English text is what counts for plans, payments and terms. Your own pages — Dashboard, My Documents, My Shared Links and Activity Log — are translated too, which means their on-screen text (such as document names and types) is sent to Google for translation while another language is selected; document numbers, file names and the files themselves are left out. Switch back to English if you would rather nothing is sent.

My Contact QR — share your contact details in one scan

On every plan except Trial: logged in, open from the Tools links at the bottom of any page to get a QR code holding your name, mobile number, profession, email and address from My Profile. When someone scans it with their phone camera, the phone offers to save you as a new contact with everything filled in — they just tap to confirm. It comes as a tabletop standee headed IDBANKQR.COM that you can download or print for your desk or counter, or send the same details as a contact file (.vcf) on WhatsApp or email. The QR carries the details themselves, so share it only with people you want to have them.

Visitor count & who’s online

The bottom of the Home page shows a running Visitors count, so you can see how many people have come to IDBANKQR.COM. Each browser is counted once a day, and search-engine crawlers are left out, so it is an honest footfall figure rather than a page-hit counter. Next to it, an Online number shows how many people are on the site right now, whether logged in or just browsing — only the total, never who. Our team can see which logged-in members are active, which helps us pick quiet times for maintenance and spot unusual activity. Other members can never see whether you are online.

Digital Partner Program — Connect. Earn. Grow.

Members with an active annual membership who have studied IDBANKQR's features can apply to become a Digital Partner and earn 20% on every new yearly membership, 10% on monthly memberships and 10% on renewals of the members they bring in. Partners get their own login (an emailed one-time code, no password) and a Partner Dashboard; once approved, that includes a personal referral QR code, a printable “Scan me to Join” poster, and a list of every member who joined through them. See partner benefits.

Join through a Digital Partner

Scanning a partner’s referral QR code opens registration with that partner already applied, so they’re credited for helping you join. Your plan price is exactly the same, and the partner only ever sees your name, plan, join date and a masked email — never your documents.

Also on the way: selecting and printing several documents together in one pass.
